You
Make
It
Possible!
This year the New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences went to Los Angeles to share expertise in science education. We traveled to ichthyology conferences in Colombia to lecture on captive breeding. Youth staff in the CAUSE program participated in Project Oceanology in Connecticut. We are piloting new field experiences in wild places all over New Jersey to teach children the importance of saving habitats close to home. Dr. Vagelli's work with the Banggai cardinal fish led to its inclusion on the IUCN's red list of endangered species, and his work with moon jellies was featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer. It is safe to say that we have arrived.
We could not have accomplished any of this without you. You are an integral part of the Academy family. Because of you one more species may survive, one more child may score proficient in science, one more acre of the Pinelands may be saved from development. Please take a moment to make your donation to the annual appeal today so we can continue achieving successes like these, together.
Thank you so much for making the Academy the force it is today and the promise it is for tomorrow.
