Animal Wrappers

Scales, feathers, fur, OH MY! This fun program uses live animals and touchable biofacts to help students explore the diversity of “animal wrappers” and how an animal’s covering helps it survive in its environment.

Fabulous Fish

Dive into the fascinating underwater world of unusual and extraordinary fish, from sea horses to sharks! Come discover why fishy characteristics are fabulous!

Penguin Fun!

Have you ever heard of a bird that flies underwater? How about a penguin that comes from Africa? Dip into the remarkable world of our feathered friends from the Southern Hemisphere and discover what makes these birds so special!

What's Your Habitat?

From the coral reef to the Australian desert, come investigate some unique habitats and the amazing adaptations of several live animals!

Food Web Frenzy

Investigate the complex world of food webs and uncover the amazing relationships between predator and prey!

Sharks!

Do sharks really target small towns and helicopters? Can you distinguish between shark myth and shark fact? Help expose the truth about sharks and find out why they should be respected, not feared. Come discover the incredible diversity of sharks and the amazing characteristics that make these fish the top predators in any ocean!

Adaptation Station

Did you know that some turtles have webbed feet? Have you ever wondered if snakes have ears? Catch a glimpse of several live animals and discover the surprising and unique adaptations that allow animals to thrive and survive in their habitat!

Pollution Perils

Trash, garbage, waste, sludge…no matter what you call it, when it winds up in the ocean, bad things happen. We’ll look at different types of pollution, how they affect the environment, and explore ways that we can make sure we’re not adding to the problem.

Built for Change

Why didn’t the dinosaurs survive while horseshoe crabs and sharks continued to thrive? Compare and contrast animal adaptations and how they allow animals to survive changing environmental conditions.
